effervescent

Effervescent starts in a glass. It is what a fizzy drink does — Latin effervescere, to boil up — the bubbles rising and escaping and refusing to sit still. Then somebody noticed that certain people do the same thing, and the word did what good words do: it moved. In the drawing the bubbles are not in a bottle, they are coming off the man himself, and he is dancing so hard his shoes have left. That is the picture to keep. An effervescent person carries more energy than the situation needs, and it keeps escaping into the room. Watch the sense of time, though — fizz is lively, and fizz also runs out.

Effervescent empieza en un vaso: es lo que hace una bebida con gas, del latín effervescere, hervir. Luego alguien vio que ciertas personas hacen lo mismo. En el dibujo las burbujas salen del hombre, que baila hasta perder los zapatos. Tiene más energía de la que la ocasión pide.

Effervescent existe en français et garde la même image : la boisson qui pétille, du latin effervescere, bouillonner. En anglais on l'applique surtout aux gens. Sur le dessin, les bulles sortent de l'homme lui-même, qui danse à en perdre ses chaussures.

Effervescent bermula di dalam gelas: efek minuman bersoda, dari bahasa Latin effervescere, mendidih. Lalu orang sadar ada manusia yang begitu juga. Di gambar, gelembungnya keluar dari tubuh si pria yang menari sampai sepatunya lepas. Energinya lebih besar dari yang diminta keadaan.

effervescent はもともとグラスの中の言葉です。炭酸が泡立つこと——ラテン語 effervescere（沸き立つ）から来ています。やがて同じように弾ける人がいると気づかれました。絵では泡が男自身から出ていて、靴が脱げるほど踊っています。場が求める以上のエネルギーが漏れ出しているのです。
