what it means
Via names the middle of a journey, never its ends. If you fly to Tokyo via Singapore, Tokyo is still where you are going — Singapore is only the place the route passes through, the airport you sit in for two hours. That is the whole word: by way of. And it works for anything that travels, not only people. A message can arrive via a friend. A payment can go via the bank. In every one of them the thing at the end is the point, and whatever follows via is only how it got there. Name the destination after via and you have used the word the wrong way round.
Via menyebut bagian tengah perjalanan, bukan ujungnya.
