In my role as a Project Manager at TechFusion, I frequently interacted with different teams and individuals, which invariably required me to assess projects and evaluate performances. One of the methodologies I used was establishing regular feedback loops. I promoted an open, communicative culture, where team members could express their opinions and give feedback regarding our ongoing projects.
For instance, during a large-scale software implementation project, we were falling behind the predetermined timeline. I conducted a detailed project evaluation, finding that our delays were largely due to inefficiencies in communication between cross-functional teams. After providing individual evaluations and gathering their perspectives, we implemented a centralized communication system for better coordination. This change greatly improved the project pace and brought us back on the schedule. This experience taught me the importance of assessment and continuous feedback to ensure a project's success.
