Equal angles at the base and equal side lengths make an arch symmetrical.
Beautiful lobed and pointed arches appear in many buildings, for example the Diwan-i-Aam at the Red Fort in Delhi. To build one, the first step is to draw it exactly on a flat surface such as paper or stone.
The scalloped arches of the Hall of Public Audience at the Red Fort.

Every arch is perfectly symmetrical: equal angles and equal lengths on both sides.
From support lines to a three-lobed arch.
Problem. Construct a symmetrical trefoil arch. (Textbook p. 149)
Construct pointed arches with different radii and invent one.
Figure it Out, Textbook p. 151, Q1–Q2.
How did you keep it symmetrical?
