Early Vedic culture relied heavily on yajña (rituals and offerings) directed toward deities for collective wellbeing. Over time, these practices evolved. A new group of texts known as the Upanishads emerged, introducing profound concepts like karma (our actions and their results) and the cycle of rebirth.
