A real Band 5 paragraph. Six sentences, two phrases.
You cannot swap these freely — what comes after decides which one you can use.
Five very and four a lot in six sentences — and not one of them is a mistake. Every sentence is grammatical.
But the Band 5 descriptor calls this range "minimally adequate for the task", and that paragraph is exactly what the phrase means. Not wrong. Thin.
The fix is not longer words. It is having three or four alternatives, so the same one does not appear nine times.
