Run the Checks

Three worked checks on one essay.

Run each check on the essay below and record what it finds before naming any repair. Intro ends: Universities should be free for everyone. Body 1: Free university widens access, because it makes university accessible to all. Every student benefits from higher education. Body 2: Clearly, the cost is enormous and obviously falls on taxpayers. Conclusion: On balance, both sides of this debate have merit.

Audit Four Essays

Six checks, four essays. One is clean.

For each essay, name what the checks found. Write clean where they found nothing — and one of these four is clean, so do not manufacture a fault for it.
