Learner consolidates all thirty chapter items by what each one expects beside it, and runs the prosody check as a habit rather than as a rule they can recite.

Five things, one per sprint, plus the habit the whole chapter exists to install. Tick only what you could do in an exam.
Thirty items, five clusters. Any item that hesitates is the one to review.
Sort each item into the correct category
Twelve items. In five the correct answer is the ordinary word — the chapter is not passed by using everything it taught you.
Twelve items across the five clusters. Every option in every question is grammatical and every collocation is legal — the only thing being tested is the fourth check.
In five of the twelve the correct answer is the plain word. That ratio is the point. A candidate who has learned this chapter as a word list will reach every time, and will score below where they started.
The paragraph reports that a five-year programme delivered a measurable rise in literacy across every district it reached. Which verb?
A single passage drawing on all five sprints. Four of the ten gaps take the plain word, and four words in the bank are not needed at all.
Between 2016 and 2022 the sector attracted a of formal complaints — fourteen in a single quarter at the peak — and firms that ignored the voluntary code penalties running to several million pounds.
The code itself had been widely as a model for other industries, although no evaluation of it had been published at the time. When one was finally commissioned, it found the compliance returns to be inconsistencies: on the auditors' sample, four in five contained an error.
The regulator's response was not, on the evidence available, negligent or timid. It was simply slow. Revised guidance appeared eleven months after the review. That guidance a measurable improvement in return quality, and within two years the same auditors reported a of improvements across every category they examined.
What the original code left behind, however, was a legacy of that the sector is still servicing — and it is worth noticing that the noun legacy supplied none of that criticism, because it never does.
Where the sector still falls short is culture rather than compliance. Several of the largest firms continue to out near-identical annual statements, three-quarters of which reproduce the previous year's wording, and the industry body's own review described its consultation process as a of engagement.
A full Task 2 body paragraph with a hard ceiling of four chapter items. The ceiling is the assessment.

Some people believe social media companies should be legally responsible for the content posted on their platforms. Others say this responsibility lies with the users themselves. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Write ONE body paragraph, 180–260 words, arguing either side.
The ceiling is four. At most four items from this chapter — from any of the five clusters. Fewer is not a weaker answer. Zero is defensible.
Before you submit, run the fourth check on each one: look at the word immediately beside it and ask whether it is what that item expects. Polarity, object class, gradability, or contents.
Then do the thing that is harder than the check: count them. If you are at five, cut the one doing the least work.
You may invent plausible detail about a platform, a regulator or a study. Do not present invented figures as published research.
180–260 words. At most four chapter items.
Item and neighbour. Writing them out IS the fourth check.
Name it and give the reason. "None" is acceptable only if it is true.
Name the ones you are leaving behind. Deciding not to use a word you have learned is a result, not a retreat.
