Mosquitoes are responsible for spreading dangerous diseases by biting humans. When an infected mosquito bites a healthy person, germs enter their blood. However, not every mosquito carries a disease. For instance, malaria is spread specifically by the bite of a female . Another serious disease, dengue, is spread by a different insect known as the mosquito. These insects pick up the disease by sucking infected blood from a sick person first.
