As a STEM teacher at Bright Future Academy, I have often sought opportunities to innovate the learning process through technology. A great example of this was when I introduced Augmented Reality (AR) to my science class to help students understand cellular biology.
Using an application called CamBioAR, I was able to create virtual cells that students could manipulate and dissect on their tablets. By enabling students to visualize and interact with complex cellular structures, this unique approach helped address common comprehension challenges tied to abstract scientific concepts.
My students reported that this interactive experience made their learning significantly more engaging and intuitive. Interestingly, their test scores in cellular biology increased markedly, indicating that the AR application had indeed had a positive impact on their learning.
