Working as a Senior Software Engineer at SoftCorp Tech, I’ve learnt a lot about the CTO's role in a technology-driven organization. I believe a successful CTO walks the line between being a technical expert and a competent leader.
One of my proudest moments has been leading the development of our company's new customer service chatbot. To ensure we were all aligned, I implemented an Agile management process, conducting daily stand-ups and sprint reviews to communicate project status effectively. My leadership approach is centered on the "Leader-Leader" model, where I not only guide the team but also empower them to make informed decisions.
Due to the adoption of this leadership approach and effective communication, the project was completed ahead of schedule. The chatbot we developed helped improve the efficiency of our customer service department by 30%. This experience reinforced my belief in leading with empathy, adaptability, and communication.
