As a Marketing Associate at TechEdge Consulting, research has been crucial to my role. A notable example was when I conducted market research for launching a new software solution. We needed insights into the potential user-base, competition and market demand.
For this project, I developed a mixed-methods research plan. Qualitative data was gathered from focus groups, while quantitative data stemmed from online surveys and database mining. I used Tableau for data analysis and visualization, which facilitated our understanding of patterns and trends.
The findings allowed us to understand our target demographic, their behaviors, and market trends. These insights were instrumental in shaping the product’s marketing strategy and pricing structure. The success of this research initiative set a new standard for similar future projects at TechEdge.
