wonky

Wonky means not straight, and it is a friendly word for it: British, informal, more amused than annoyed. It probably comes from Old English wancol, unsteady. Wonky is not broken. The thing still stands and still works, but nothing about it can be trusted, so you keep one hand near. It works for a shelf, a smile, a wheel or a plan. In the animation, a man watches his cup on a café table whose legs bend every way.
