Paparazzi is one of the few words invented by a film. In Fellini's La Dolce Vita a news photographer is called Paparazzo, and within a year the name had come off the character and onto the job. One of them is a paparazzo; English mostly uses the plural, because they arrive in groups. In the animation, a woman tries to drink her coffee at a café table while a man crouches in front of her with a flash.
