nefarious

Nefarious is villainy with a plot behind it. Ordinary wrongdoing can be sudden and stupid; nefarious wrongdoing was planned in a room, by someone who knew exactly what they were doing and expected not to be caught — nefarious schemes, nefarious dealings. It belongs to the villain, not the thief. In the animation, a grinning man drips green poison onto a bright red apple, one careful drop at a time.
