mercurial

Mercurial is named after Mercury — the fast messenger god, and the only metal that is liquid at room temperature. Touch it and it runs; it will not keep a shape. A mercurial person is that: the mood turns fast, the plan turns with it, and the turn needs no reason you can see. In the animation, a man grins with a flame burning in his open hand, one second away from something else.
