mellifluous
Mellifluous is two Latin words stuck together: mel, honey, and fluere, to flow. Honey-flowing. It describes sound, a voice or a tune, that moves the way honey moves: slowly, smoothly, with nothing sharp in it. Use it for sound only: a voice can be mellifluous, a kind act cannot. Smooth is lovely in a singer and, in a salesman, sometimes the warning. In the animation, honey pours over the man and the bell until even the ringing looks slow.
