gregarious

Grex is Latin for a flock, and a gregarious animal lives in one: sheep are gregarious, tigers are not. A gregarious person does not just put up with company; they are only fully themselves inside it, and company collects around them. Confident is about you alone. Friendly is how you treat whoever turns up. Gregarious is needing them to turn up. In the animation, a man walks alone, and soon a whole crowd is laughing over his shoulders.
