As an Associate Content Editor at XYZ Publishing, part of our workflow involves a cross-review process, where team members go through each other's work before final editing and publication. During one such review, a fellow editor pointed out that my approach to editing was perhaps too aggressive, potentially stifling creativity from the original author.
Taking the critique onboard, I revisited my editing approach and decided to focus on facilitating communication between me and the writers I was working with.
