As a network engineer at XYZ Enterprises, I have been a part of multiple projects involving Amazon Web Services. A critical task during my tenure was migrating our on-premises servers to AWS, specifically involving the setting up of a virtual private network using AWS VPC and enabling secure access using AWS IAM.
My role involved configuring subnets for different components of the system, setting up security groups, and implementing NAT Gateways for outbound internet connections. We utilized AWS's automated Route 53 system to manage DNS records for our public-facing applications. This task was a major achievement in my career, as it improved our company’s security significantly, and increased flexibility in network management.
